The Human Services
Commission meets the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the
City Manager's Conference Room, 500 East Third Street.
The Human Services
Commission acts as a sounding board for social
concerns, reviews all grant applications made to the
City for Community Development Block Grant funds and
Human Relations Commission grant program funds, makes
funding recommendations to City Council regarding
grant funding allocation, and provides citizen input
on consolidated planning documents as required by the
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
