Volunteer Environmental Educator Training CSI "The Case of the Cracked Eggshell"
- Date: 09/12/2018 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM
- Location: Namaqua Park
730 N County Road 19E
Loveland, Colorado 80537
Outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy working with children are invited to this training to become certified to help teach environmental education programs to students. "Critter Scene Investigations" are 2-hour field trips offered to Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st Grade school groups on weekdays in spring and fall at Namaqua Park.
This training focuses on the CSI Program - "The Case of the Cracked Eggshell." We will go over the booklet that contains the "story," the "scripts" for each station, and where each station fits into the investigation. We will also talk about setting up the program at the park, expectations for the kids, and how to troubleshoot some common items. We'd love to have a core team of volunteers who are ready to help these young students learn about the outdoors and wildlife of Colorado in a fun way through the CSI program.
No experience is necessary for volunteers and all training and materials are provided free of charge.
