The ski industry is historically linked to the economic development of Colorado while maintaining an intrinsic connection to environmental topics, such as water use and access. This exhibition traces ski history through the art of fashion and graphic design. From the early 20th Century, the popularity of snowsports in Colorado necessitated specialized equipment that also reflected prevailing fashion trends and social norms.

Colorado artist Dena Peterson was honored to be selected as one of 120 international artists for the film, “Loving Vincent,” truly a labor of love and tribute to the life and struggles of Van Gogh as told through his paintings.
