Bike to Work Day

Free. Whether commuting to work on bike or riding for fun, check out Loveland’s morning and afternoon energizer stations that will be strategically located along convenient and common on-street routes, as well as the Recreation Trail to support all riding abilities and comfort levels. Various services and experiences will be available at different locations.

NEW THIS YEAR: Each Bike to Work Day station will have a cow bell to ring in celebration of people on bikes!

Here are some interesting facts about Loveland's 2019 Bike to Work Day:

  • 18 station locations
  • 25 total stations. This includes 7 locations that will have hosts both AM and PM
  • 31 different organizations/businesses/City departments are hosting!
  • 12 hosts are brand new this year!
  • 19 hosts have previously hosted a station

Venture out for a walk or a bike ride this summer and be part of virtual celebration! Walking and biking in our community is more essential to our lives than ever before. The City of Loveland hopes that everyone who was looking forward to Walk and Bike Month will seek out ways to participate through virtual, solo or safely-distanced adventures. 

Walking and biking for transportation and recreation is on the rise in Loveland. While daily routines have changed substantially, take the opportunity to integrate walking and biking into your schedule. Think about how some of your trips by car to the grocery store or a nearby trail can be shifted to walking or biking.

Rediscover the joy of spending time outside and experience the physical and mental health benefits walking and biking bring.

Loveland’s Walk and Bike Month can unite us all, even as we must stay apart and stay home.
