National Trails Day

tree line with blue skyCelebrate National Trails Day by helping to build Loveland's newest soft-surface trail at Willow Bend Natural Area along the east Big Thompson River.

We'll be spreading and tamping crusher fine materials on new trails.

Willow Bend is closed to the public until trails and other amenities are installed, so this opportunity provides a sneak peek at the site!

All ages welcome. Dress for the weather in layers, wear long pants and sturdy shoes.

Bring a filled water bottle and your favorite work gloves (we'll have extras).

No experience necessary, all tools and materials provided.

Loveland celebrates walk and bike month in June!

Loveland’s Walk and Bike Month can unite us all, even as we must stay apart and stay home.  We encourage you to use the month of June to seek out opportunities close to home to be physically active.  Visit this page often to access resources, virtual events, activities and information.  Check back for new content throughout the month of June.

Search for Loveland’s Walk and Bike Month symbol! This symbol represents Loveland’s celebration of walking and biking each June.The print-your-own “Walk and Bike Month” heart logo PDF 

Print and place the heart in a visible location at home or your place of work, then let the “Hunt” begin! This is a virtual way to show support for your friends and neighbors who are out walking and biking. Post the logo then head outside to see how many you can be spot while being active in our community.

BikeLoveland’s Bike to Work Day will be rescheduled to Tuesday September 22, 2020. This postponement aligns with CDOT, DRCOG, The League of American Bicyclists and neighboring communities.
