The City of Loveland is hosting a special Dog Day of Summer event at River’s Edge Natural Area, 960 W. First St., from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, June 17.
The event will offer fun, interactive opportunities to learn about responsible pet ownership, understand natural area stewardship, and meet local pet vendors and trainers.
Attendees are invited to bring an on-leash dog and visit stations throughout the site, offering information about enjoying the great outdoors with “man’s best friend,” including natural areas, trails, open spaces and dog parks to visit, equipment selection, training opportunities, and a variety of exercise options. Demonstrations, rally/agility courses to try and product samples will also be available.
Hosted by the City of Loveland Open Lands & Trails Program: www.cityofloveland.org/openlands.
