Offero allows citizens to sign up online

New online system for Open Lands programs & volunteers

Post Date:09/06/2017 6:00 AM

The Loveland Open Lands & Trails Program launched a new event registration and volunteer management system, called Offero, on August 15.

The city’s Offero system can be accessed at

Offero offers members of the public the ability to:

• View a calendar of events, programs, guided hikes, volunteer opportunities, training, and more.

• Register for events, programs, and volunteer projects (all referred to as “activities” in Offero) after creating a free account (name, email and phone number are required).

• Apply to volunteer with Loveland Open Lands & Trails as an environmental educator, trail host, or special projects volunteer.

• Request a special or group program, or teachers can request a school field trip.

Offero also will let volunteers view and sign up for volunteer opportunities and trainings, track their hours and more.  A mobile version of Offero makes access easy from a smartphone or tablet, too.

The purchase of Offero was made possible by a grant from the Colorado Health Foundation.  Offero was developed by a local software development company, Squarei Technologies.
