Loveland residents are invited to apply to serve as official advisors to Loveland City Council on a City board or commission.
The City’s 23 boards and commissions span a wide range of topics, addressing issues involving city finance, culture, youth, seniors, police, golf and more.
Boards and commission members research and discuss local issues and serve as advisory groups to City Council. Recommendations made by boards and commissions help councilors learn more about, and make decisions on a wide variety of issues that affect the safety, economy and quality of life of Loveland's citizens and businesses.
The following boards and commissions have vacancies:
Affordable Housing Commission: 3
Community Marketing Commission: 2
Construction Advisory Board: 5
Disabilities Advisory Commission: 3
Historic Preservation Committee: 2 adults, 1 youth member
Human Services Commission: 3
Loveland Communications Advisory Board: 9
Loveland Utilities Commission: 3
Transportation Advisory Board: 2
Youth Advisory Commission: 4
Board of Retirement (Employee General Retirement Plan): 1 employee, 1 citizen
Volunteers generally spend a few hours per month preparing for and attending meetings usually held in a Loveland city building.
