Leave the car home!
Contact: Public Works, 962-2524
Bike Month in Loveland is a celebration for people on bikes. During the entire month, the City’s Public Works Department is encouraging people to leave their cars at home occasionally to enjoy riding their bicycle.
Several City Departments and community organizations have collaborated to offer fun, encouraging and educational bicycle-related events and activities for people of all ages and riding abilities.
The month’s activities kick off with the Bike Month Challenge – a blackout Bingo game! Residents can cover the squares on the bingo card by bicycling for daily duties (work, school or grocery store), everyday errands (visit family, friends, post office), casual causes (coffee, ice cream or park). Bicyclists who turn in their card at the Closing Celebration on Friday, June 29 will be entered into a random drawing for great prizes, including a hybrid bike!-related events and activities for people of all ages and riding abilities.
