Madison Avenue closure during Boyd Sewer Project

Loveland, Colorado – Madison Avenue  will be closed between Silver Leaf and 29th Street starting Thursday, November 1, 2018 as Loveland Water and Power (LWP) crews install the final portion of the 24-inch wastewater interceptor pipe of the Boyd Lake Sewer Project. The road closure will last approximately 6 weeks.  The closure will extend from the intersection of Madison Avenue and Silver Leaf Drive to Madison Avenue and 29th Street.  A map showing the proposed project alignment is attached.

The closure will allow Loveland Water and Power (LWP) and their contractor to finish installing a 24-inch wastewater interceptor pipe. The new interceptor provides additional wastewater capacity to the existing collection system and capacity for future population growth. This work marks the completion of the construction project that began in March 2018.

Residents in the area are encouraged to designated detour routes. Residents should allow extra time to navigate around the construction site and be aware of potential pedestrian hazards.
