UPDATE:  Water service has been restored to all businesses along Eisenhower Boulevard from Taft Avenue to Van Buren Avenue. North and southbound lanes of Van Buren Avenue from 15th Street to Eisenhower Boulevard will remain closed until January 15, 2019. LWP crews have repaired the waterline leak on Van Buren Avenue. Residual water from the leaky valves may still be visible on the street near Taft and Eisenhower.

UPDATE: Businesses along Eisenhower Boulevard from Taft Avenue to Van Buren Avenue will be without water service at 2 p.m. while Loveland Water and Power crews isolate and repair a portion of the steel main that broke late Saturday night. No residential customers will be affected. The waterline break on Van Buren Avenue is not related to the waterline repair project on Wilson Avenue.

Loveland Water and Power (LWP) crews closed north and southbound lanes of Van Buren Avenue from 15th Street to Eisenhower Boulevard due to a waterline break. One westbound lane of Eisenhower Boulevard is also closed for approximately 40 feet near the intersection. Repair work related to the broken waterline caused leaky valves at Prospect Avenue and Eisenhower and Taft Avenue and Eisenhower. Water is visible on the street but both locations are secure. Traffic will be restricted while repair work continues. Crews will be back on-site early Monday morning. Van Buren Elementary families should expect traffic delays near the school Monday.
