After the storm

Post Date:03/13/2019 11:58 AM

Update:  11:56 a.m., Thursday., March 14

The storm has moved out of the Loveland area and dry weather conditions are expected this afternoon, evening and overnight into Friday. Main weather concerns today will be ice on roads due to blowing and drifting snow. Drivers should still drive with extra caution until roadways are completely dry. Winds are expected to largely decrease after 5 to 6 p.m. We are then dry overnight and through Friday with no significant road concerns.

The traffic signal at US-34/Eisenhower Boulevard and Redwood Drive by Sam's Club & Jax, is out. It is expected to take about a day to complete the repair. Drivers should consider taking an alternate route in the meantime.

The City is no longer on Accident Alert:  If you were in an accident yesterday but there were no injuries, alcohol or drugs involved, please report it to the Police department at your earliest convenience.

City buses are running their normal schedule and trash/recycling collection are back on schedule.
