Volunteers are needed to help plant native wetland and upland species for a restoration project at Medina’s Crossing Natural Area in west Loveland. A grant from Great Outdoors Colorado helped fund this seven-acre habitat restoration project along the west Big Thompson River.

Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and dress for the weather in layers. Bring a filled water bottle and your favorite work gloves and trowel/digger if you have one (we’ll have some, too). No experience necessary.

Address coordinates/map will be provided to volunteers once they sign up to help us plant. The access area is on private property.

Earth Day is celebrated on April 22 every year. 2020 marks the 50th year of Earth Day. This project is on Saturday, April 25.
