2007 budget discussed on channel 16
This month’s “Loveland’s Talking” show on cable TV channel 16 focuses on
money-- big money, taxpayer money—the 2007 City of Loveland municipal
budget. City Budget Director John Hartman provides an overview of the
2007 budget along with a basic overview of where City budget money comes
from and where it goes.
City Police Chief Luke Hecker explains the need and benefits of a few
additional police officers and communications dispatchers to be hired,
while Parks Planner Janet Meisel-Burns describes what’s ahead for the
redevelopment of the old fairgrounds area along the Big Thompson River.
“Loveland’s Talking” is offered as part of the monthly Tapes of Interest
segment on channel 16. Two additional shows make up November’s Tapes of
Interest programming.
“Housing in Larimer County”

Colorado. This program, produced by Larimer County Health and Human
Services (HHS), examines the problems lack of affordable housing poses,
defines the term ‘affordable housing’ and addresses why affordable
housing is so important to the entire community.
Everyone wants to have
interesting and challenging work, but what happens when challenges
becoming overwhelming and begin to cause daily frustration and stress?
“Working with Stress,” produced by the National Institute for
Occupational Safety and Health, discusses how stress at work often
develops, looks at some causes, and suggests some strategies to reduce
on-the-job stress.
