The City of Loveland Solid
Waste Division introduces
All-in-One recycling cart service
New carts will be delivered
to Loveland neighborhoods throughout July
The new
All-in-One recycling cart service is being phased-in citywide.
In the next few weeks, some Loveland households will receive a new, wheeled cart. Shortly before a neighborhood receives
its carts, customers will be mailed information that explains the new service and collection
schedule.
Why the new carts?
·
▪
Large, All-in-One carts easily accommodate two week’s worth
of your household’s comingled recyclables
·
▪
Recycling more and throwing away less helps save you money on trash
collection fees
·
▪ The
every other week collection schedule means more efficient use of
city
trucks, which helps keep your rates low
·
▪
Wheeled carts, even when full, are easier to get to the street for
collection
·
▪
Recycling more and throwing away less is better for the environment
What’s my collection schedule? Your recyclables will
be collected every other week on your regular service
day. Place your comingled recyclables in the cart and wheel it out
to the street when it is at least half full, by 7 a.m. on your
regular collection day.
What about the old recycling bins?
Once the new
service begins, the City will no longer collect recyclables from the
blue and green containers. Residents are encouraged to keep those
containers to store and haul their glass bottles and jars to one of three,
convenient glass
drop-sites in Loveland. The bins can also be dropped off at the
Recycling Center, 400 N. Wilson Ave., for reuse or recycling.

service? Click on the links below to see maps of the
neighborhoods that will be included in this next phase. The
City plans to extend this service to the remaining Loveland
households early next year once new equipment is available.
