There is no restriction on where registered
vehicles can be parked on private property. Under the
current Loveland Municipal Code there is nothing to prohibit
a person from parking there registered vehicles anywhere on
their property. |

How many vehicles are allowed at a property? |
|
A.
There is no limit to the number of registered
vehicles maintained at a property. However, there is a
restriction on the number of unregistered
vehicles. Each property is allowed up to one unregistered
vehicle as long as it is either tarped or completely
concealed from view. |

Can my neighbor, or my neighbor's guests, park their
vehicle in front of my house? |

A.
Parking on public streets is not reserved. Registered
vehicles can be parked in any lawful parking space on a
public street. |

Can my neighbor park their boat or trailer on their
property? |

A.
Yes, boats and trailers are not considered vehicles, so they
are not subject to the requirements of vehicles. |

This is enforced by the Loveland Police Department (970)
667-2151, but generally the boat or trailer must be
connected to a registered vehicle and moved at a minimum of
every 72 hours. |

The Loveland Municipal Code states no more than 3
unrelated people may reside within a dwelling unit. It
does not restrict the number of family members (including
extended family) allowed to live within a dwelling unit. |

This depends on where you live. Generally speaking, rear
yard fences can be a maximum of 6'3". Side yard fences can
be either 3' or 4' depending on their location and type of
construction. All fences shall be constructed on your
property. If you live in an area with a Home Owner's
Association, be sure to check with them for any additional
requirements. |

Temporary signs are allowed on private property advertising
that specific property. Directional signs on other

Weeds over 6 inches in height can be considered a code
violation. |
