PROJECTS IN THE WORKS

2015 is shaping up to be another year filled with several exciting projects and the expansion of The Art Advocacy Project (TAAP). Public art installations often take several years to come to fruition, as each location poses new challenges and its own timeline; therefore, it’s very advantageous to bring an artist on-board for city construction projects early on in the process. Thankfully, artists are proactively looking for creative ways to maximize public art dollars by capitalizing on regular construction processes such as electrical work, mechanical adjustments, and the pouring of concrete. The unique planning process is one of the great joys of working with public art. Each artwork has its own story to tell!
