Art in Public Places

Donations to the Public Art Collection

Donation Policy
Approximately 72% of the City’s public art collection has been donated from arts organizations, artists and private donors. Because of these generous contributions, our city enjoys an art collection of unique breath of artistic styles and media. Each donation undergoes an extensive review process to maintain high standards of quality, diversity and safety. The Visual Arts Commission typically reviews donations twice a year, at the January and July regularly scheduled VAC meetings. If you are considering a donation to the Art in Public Places Program, please take a moment to review the Donation Policy. Susan Ison, Cultural Services Director, would be happy to answer any questions you might have. Susan will send to you the paperwork that must accompany your donation and offer guidance along the way. She can be reached via email: Susan.Ison@cityofloveland.org
