Who Are We?
The function of the Finance Department is to facilitate interaction between the City Council, City Manager, other City departments and the divisions within the Finance Department. The Finance Director supervises all financial functions of the City, as well as many other support services, including Accounting and Purchasing, Internal Auditing, Risk Management, Sales Tax, Meter Reading and Utility Billing. The Finance Department assists the public regarding utility bills, accounts payable, sales and use taxes and municipal bonds. It is also primarily responsible for the administration of the City's defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans.

Boards and Commissions Recruitment

Citizens are invited to serve as official advisors to Loveland City Council on City Boards and Commissions. The committees serve as advisory groups helping councilors learn about and make decisions on a variety of issues that affect Loveland’s citizens and businesses.
