Connecting Service
New customers must contact the Utility Billing Office at 970.962.2111 to apply for water, electric and other utility services. The City requires a deposit, which is held until you establish a good payment record for 12 consecutive months. If your monthly bill becomes delinquent, your deposit will be held for at least an additional 12 months.

Your first bill will arrive in 2 to 6 weeks. It will include a connect fee and a meter reading charge if your meter was read. If your water or electric service needs to be turned on, there is a fee charged for each service turned on during regular working hours.

Disconnecting Service
Customers moving out of the City's service area should call Utility Billing at 970.962.2111 to disconnect utility services. Electric and water meters can be read as soon as the next business day after your request is made. The final bill is due approximately 10 days after the final bill date.

After-Hours Service Fee
If you need your water or electric service turned on after working hours, an after-hours fee will be charged. After-hours means requests received after 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, on weekends, and all holidays observed by the City of Loveland.

Transfer Service Within the City
