Many activities and classes offered through the Chilson Recreation Center have additional requirements for registrants to purchase added supplies or equipment.  When this occurs, you will see the added notation at the bottom of each activity/class description within the Leisure Times Activity Guide.

Please refer to the listing below for the comprehensive listing of the supply lists and added requirements for classes:

Athletics:
T-Shirts

Each participant in a youth athletics program is required to wear a reversible T-shirt unless otherwise noted (available at Mountain Rentals, Inc.).

The Parks & Recreation Foundation accepts used T-shirts for their scholarship recipients. To donate a gently used shirt, please call: (970) 962-2443.

Sports Equipment

Each of the athletics offerings has requirements for additional purchases, such as Youth Athletic T-Shirts, shin guards, padding/protective gear, non-marking soled shoes, cleats, etc.

PLEASE REFER TO THE INFORMATION PACKETS that are provided by the front desk staff at registration, or online for your specific sport.  See them online under Youth Athletics or Adult Athletics.

General Interest Classes: Supplies Required:

SUPPLY FEES, PAYABLE AT THE FIRST CLASS

Many supplies are provided by the Instructors at class. In those cases, you may be asked to pay an extra fee to the Instructor at the first class session, to cover their costs (instead of bringing your own supplies).  The extra fee amount will be listed in advance within the class descriptions in the Leisure Times Activity Guide.  Usually extra supply fees will range from $4-$20 per person.

TRIP COSTS, ADDED EXPENSES on Day Trips

Many of the Day Trips require that you bring additional money for incidentals or to cover the cost of your meals while on the trip.  Those extra costs will be listed within the trip descriptions in the Leisure Times Activity Guide.  Usually the extra costs will range from approximately $5-$20 per person.

The Supply Lists shown below will also print on registration receipts.
