Together we’ll set a trail service world record on National Trails Day®

Each year people all across the country set out on trails in celebration of American Hiking Society’s National Trails Day®. This year, we saw how our public lands suffered during the government shutdown. Together, we'll give back to the places we love and set the world record for the most people improving trails in a single day for National Trails Day® on June 1.

To join in on the world record, the Open Lands & Trails division of Loveland Parks & Recreation will rally together at Willow Bend Natural Area on June 1 at 9:00A to build a new soft-surface trail.

Willow Bend is currently closed to the public. This is your chance to get a sneak peek and help us build new trails!

Together we’ll improve Willow Bend Natural Area by spreading and tamping crusher fine materials on new trails.  We encourage you to take the National Trails Day® pledge and join us as we hit the trail and leave it better than we found it during #NationalTrailsDay.

Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 9:00A - 12:00P
