School Resource Officers – there are 6 sworn officers assigned to the middle and high schools in Thompson School District (TSD). The mission is providing a safe environment for the learning process while interacting with the students.

Crime Prevention – one officer is assigned to interact with the community giving presentations on a variety of topics important to the community. Using social media to get the message out about current crime trends and prevention is the goal.

Loveland Senior Police Volunteers – highly committed community members make up this group of individuals volunteering their time to help. They are involved in most every aspect of the Department providing thousands of hours each year to the community.

Police Explorer Post – sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America this post gives the youth of the community the opportunity to learn all the aspects of policing.
