Loveland’s Walk and Bike Month can unite us all, even as we must stay apart and stay home.  We encourage you to use the month of June to seek out opportunities close to home to be physically active.  Visit this page often to access resources, virtual events, activities and information.  Check back for new content throughout the month of June.

Keep Moving NoCo Challenge -- a friendly competition to encourage all types of physical activity for household-based teams across the Northern Colorado region.Accept the Challenge to keep moving and have fun!

Hunt for the Heart-- The print-your-own “Walk and Bike Month” heart logo PDF

Print and place the heart in a visible location at home or your place of work, then let the “Hunt” begin! This is a virtual way to show support for your friends and neighbors who are out walking and biking. Post the logo then head outside to see how many you can be spot while being active in our community.

Walk and Talk Wednesdays – A series of four videos present an opportunity to virtually learn about aspects of our community from different local professionals and experts.

  • Jeff Bailey, the City Engineer, will showcase a new roadway project that includes a bridge, roundabout, bike lanes, sidewalks and public art.
  • Sean Hawkins, Executive Director of Loveland’s Downtown Development Authority will showcase planning and development in downtown.
  • Teri Johnson, the President of the Loveland Historical Society will showcase historic buildings in downtown.
  • Suzanne Janssen, Public Art Manager, and local artists will showcase the City’s Art-on-Loan program on 4th Street in downtown.

BikeLoveland’s Bike to Work Day will be rescheduled to Tuesday September 22, 2020. This postponement aligns with CDOT, DRCOG, The League of American Bicyclists and neighboring communities.
