Loveland Water and Power will be investing approximately $2,000,000 annually to replace aging water lines. The tentative schedule of project is as follows:

2013:

  • Custer Avenue (from 30th Street to 33rd Street) - COMPLETE
  • South Lincoln Avenue (1100 Block) - COMPLETE
  • West 29th Street near Antero Drive - COMPLETE

2014:

  • West 1st Street (from Tyler Avenue to Libby) COMPLETE
  • Butternut Drive (between 33rd Street and 36th Street) COMPLETE
  • Jill Drive/Katy Drive UNDER CONSTRUCTION, COMPLETE
  • Greeley Drive COMPLETE
  • South Monroe Avenue (from 1st Street to 4th Street SE) COMPLETE
  • South Van Buren (from Jocelyn Drive to Heather Drive) COMPLETE
  • 6th Street SW (east of Dotsero) COMPLETE
  • 35th Street SW COMPLETE
  • Fairplay Drive (from 25th Street to Estrella) COMPLETE
  • White Elm (from Scotch Elm Dr. to Marshall St.) COMPLETE
  • 16th Street West (from Village to Falls) COMPLETE

2015:

  • Jefferson Avenue (from Eisenhower to East 16th Street) COMPLETE
  • 14th Street SW (from Susan Drive to Effie Ct) COMPLETE
  • South Dotsero Drive (from 14 Street SW to 15th Street SW) COMPLETE
  • Frances Drive (from Flora Court to 23rd Street SW) COMPLETE

2016:

  • Arthur Drive to 15th Street (this segment is under the Railroad tracks) COMPLETE
  • 10th Street SW (from Del Norte to Ida) COMPLETE
  • East 2nd Street (from Madison to St. Louis) COMPLETE
  • Cherry Avenue (from Eisenhower South Approx. .360 feet) COMPLETE
  • Walnut Avenue (from Eisenhower to Pine Street) COMPLETE

2017:

  • Foundry Utility Improvements
    • Lincoln Avenue (from E. 2nd Street to E. 3rd Street)
    • Cleveland Avenue (from E. 2nd Street to E. 1st Street)
    • E. 3rd Street (from Lincoln Avenue to Cleveland Avenue)
  • Garfield Avenue (from Marmac Drive to Lake Drive)

The projects listed above were previously deemed to be in the most critical need of rehabilitation. However, along with other needs, new water line breaks, and coordination with other City departments, the order in which these, and other projects are completed may vary.
