Occupational Tax is a yearly tax and is due January 1st of each year. The State of Colorado gave the City of Loveland the authority to tax establishments that sell alcoholic beverages.
An establishment will be considered delinquent as of February 1st of each year, with an interest penalty assessed on the unpaid tax. For a new establishment, the tax is prorated and then assessed January 1st of each year thereafter.
