NEW BRANCH LIBRARY
Loveland’s public library, located at 300 N. Adams Ave., has never been busier. In 2018, more than 401,000 people visited the library and checked out more than 775,000 items from its collection. More than 54,000 people attended one of the library’s many programs offered to children, teens, families and adults.
Thousands of Loveland residents benefit from the library’s many resources that help them start and expand their businesses, learn a new skill, find expert knowledge on current topics, connect to the digital world or gather with others who share a passion for art, nature or a favorite hobby.
A satellite library is being considered to bring library programs and services to Northwest Loveland.
The Library completed a comprehensive feasibility study last year to evaluate potential locations, costs, service elements and size of a new branch location.
A second Loveland Library location would feature:
• A robust collection of books and other materials for children, teens and adults
• Study rooms and a large community room for public use and library programs
• A technology center equipped with computers, 3D printers and other hardware and software for public use
• Space dedicated for the Friends of the Library for used book sorting and sales
