SOLID WASTE SERVICE
The City’s volume-based “pay-as-you-throw” rates provide you with a financial incentive to reduce waste and recycle. The less you toss, the less you pay. 
Trash cart options:
17-gallon cart: $2.75 per month
35-gallon cart: $5.50 per month
65-gallon cart: $11.00 per month
95-gallon cart: $16.50 per month
Call 962-2529 to order a trash cart. The cart service fee is applied to your monthly City utility bill.
Extra trash:
If you have additional trash that exceeds the capacity of your cart, it must be bagged and have a City $1.50 trash stamp affixed. Stamps can be purchased at local grocery, discount and convenience stores.
Large items:
Curbside collection of large items is available. These items include, but are not limited to:
- Furniture
- Appliances
- General rubbish

Temporary dumpsters and roll-off boxes:
Various containers are available for rent. Prices and dimensions are as follows:
- Two-cubic yard dumpster: $90.00 per month, which includes two empties. Container is 5’ long x 3’ wide x 4’deep.
- Three-cubic yard dumpster: $120.00 per month, which includes two empties. Container is 5’ long x 4’ wide x 4 ½’deep.
- 30-cubic yard roll-off box: $310.00 per empty. Container is 20’ long x 7’ wide x 6’ deep.
All roll-off containers will be billed a minimum of the full monthly rental rate each month. Containers are for temporary use only and should be rented for no longer than 60 days. Extensions may be requested if necessary. Call 970-962-2529 to rent a dumpster or roll-off box. These containers are rented to Loveland residents only. We cannot rent these containers to businesses.
