Rules & Regulations
WEATHER POLICY-
The Batting Cages at Barnes Complex will not open
unless the temperature is above 50 degrees and all equipment is dry.
CHILD SAFETY -
Children of all ages are welcome at the Barnes Complex.
However, it is of upmost importance that parents and spectators KEEP
A CLOSE WATCH ON CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES! There are many dangerous
situations that can occur including errant foul balls and
over-throws; parking lot and walkway traffic; and possible contact
with strangers that might pose a threat to their well-being.
Unsupervised children are also more susceptible to problems in the
restrooms, on landscaped areas, and areas next to the Big Thompson
River. There is a playground across SE 5th Street that is well
equipped for children of all ages, but parents are reminded to stay
close in contact with their children regardless of their location at
the Barnes Complex and in the surrounding areas.
ANIMAL CONTROL –
For their own safety, and that of Barnes Complex
visitors dogs, cats, and other pets are NOT ALLOWED inside Barnes
Complex, directly adjacent to the two North fields in spectator
areas, or the Barnes Batting Cage areas.
There is an exception for recognized (clearly marked/vested) dogs trained to assist visually or hearing impaired
individuals. These dogs must be kept under direct supervision,
and cleaned up after as necessary.)
NO SKATEBOARDS, IN-LINE SKATES, OR OTHER ROLLER DEVICES
ALLOWED
BICYCLE RACK -
Bicycle racks are available just inside the Barnes
Complex main gate. Please lock your bike.
