The Chilson Recreation and Senior Center is one of
Northern Colorado’s most complete facilities for meetings, for wedding
receptions, for conferences and other activities both social &
recreational. Close to downtown, the Chilson Center is easily accessible
from I-25, Hwy. 34 & Hwy. 287.
Our experienced staff is happy to assist you in planning your event and is
committed to ensuring a memorable experience for you and your guests.
Facilities may be rented for a one time event or function. Facility
rentals will be authorized if they do not conflict with any City, Parks
& Recreation or Senior Center activity / event.
All rental requests are confirmed on a first come, first serve basis.
Rental requests for a particular day and time may be made within one year
of the actual date.
All events scheduled at the Chilson Center will be held to those hours
contracted. Requests for added time are subject to approval. The Chilson
Facility Coordinator will meet with larger event rental parties prior to
the activity to assist with special arrangements, room layouts, time
frames, etc. Decorations are the responsibility of the applicant.
Decoration and equipment placement must comply with existing fire code
rules & regulations.

Alcohol Permit
Parties requesting alcohol at their event must
receive approval from the City Manager when the reservation date is
confirmed. Cash bars are only allowed for groups with non-profit status.
Serving and consumption of alcoholic beverages and food is restricted to
the room(s) rented.
Reservation
Deposits
A reservation deposit must be received by the
Facility Coordinator within 48 hours of verbal confirmation. This deposit
will be refunded to the applicant less any additional cleaning fees,
damage to equipment or facilities or additional rental time beyond the
original contracted agreement. Deposit refunds are returned by mail within
2 weeks following the event.
Cancellations
Cancellation of an event will result in the loss
to the applicant of their deposit. If the facility can be rented to
another party, the deposit will be returned in full. All rental fees are
to be paid prior to completion of the event.
Additional Fees
A Facility Supervisor must be
present during all facility rentals scheduled for non-operational hours
(after 6pm Saturday or Sunday) or as deemed necessary by the Facility.
Coordinator Supervision Fee will be charged. The Chilson Center is
responsible for the set-up and teardown of all facility equipment before
and after each event. Set up and teardown charge will be assessed on the
event.

Multi-Purpose Rooms
The multi-purpose room is a very
versatile area for all types of meetings and social activities. This
bright contemporary room with oak trim may be divided into three separate
rooms for smaller gatherings. Adjacent outdoor patio is available for warm
weather events. (A full service commercial kitchen complete with place
settings for 150 is available for rent with the multi-purpose rooms).

special arrangements may be made for groups interested in a
particular activity area during facility hours.
