Man Playing Tennis

The City of Loveland Parks and Recreation Department maintains 22 tennis courts. Lighted tennis courts are located at Dwayne Webster, Edmondson, North Lake, and Osborn Parks. Unlit courts are located at McKee and Sunnyside Parks. All have 2 courts, with the exception of North Lake Park, which has 12 courts.

Lessons
The Loveland Parks and Recreation Department offers lessons for ages 5 and up. Lessons for "Hot Shots" (ages 5-7), Beginners, Advanced Beginners, and Intermediate players (ages 7 and up), are offered in the spring, summer, and fall seasons. There are also Private and Semi-Private Lessons offered for those that want more one-on-one training.  Lessons are held at most of the lighted courts. For current lesson information:

CARA Tennis Team:
Colorado Association of Recreational Athletics
Youth CARA Tennis is offered to children ages 8-18, and provides a recreational, non-ranked, non-sanctioned opportunity for young tennis players to learn competitive strategies and skills in a learning environment. Drills and challenge matches emphasize competitive tennis skills and strategies. Participants play matches against players of equal age and skill. Parents must be willing to carpool to matches and participants must be able to volley and keep score.

This self-directed group offers adult tennis leagues, tournaments, and social events for the tennis playing community of Loveland. For further information, please contact Dean Pflughoeft, Vice President at 970-669-3059.

Tennis Court Reservations:
City tennis courts may be reserved by the public 
for drop-in use for $4 per hour/per court.
Tennis courts may be reserved by private tennis instructors for lessons at the rate of $12 per hour/per court.     
Reservations can be made through the Parks and Recreation Department. Please call: (970) 962-2432 for additional information.
