The public and all public
elementary schools are invited to come and
learn about what our department does for the community. We are
the largest department within the city and are comprised of 12 divisions
and approximately 140 employees. Our divisions include:

Children will participate in a variety of
fun-filled educational activities. This event is made possible

CONTESTS
Middle School Banner Contest
Each
year we hold a
banner contest with the local Middle Schools; each participating
school is given blank canvas banners and asked to create a banner representing our department and the current American
Public Works Association theme. All banners are then hung throughout the
City
the week before our celebration.
Elementary School Coloring &
Drawing Contests
We also hold coloring and
drawing contests for elementary school students. For
